WHO IS QCG?

To put it simply, we are a competitive club team that has a lot of fun along the way.

Our team culture is something we take a lot of pride in. We have cultivated a supportive environment where every player feels welcome & knows they have a voice. We know winning & team success starts with a healthy team environment. We have quite a few successes from last season to highlight this: a 24-7 record overall, 1st place at Bid in the Bend & 6th place at Regionals.

TEAM GOALS

Our goals this season are to continue a great team culture, place in the top 5 in the region overall & earn a Select Flight bid. We will reach these goals by putting an emphasis on continual individual & team growth.

COMMITMENT EXPECTATIONS

As we are a competitive club team, we expect that you will come to every practice/tournament possible & will work on individual skills/endurance/conditioning outside of team practices as well. We do understand life happens & sometimes attending practice is not always possible, but we want you to make the effort to consistently show up.

TRYOUT PROCESS

We will be offering roster spots on a rolling basis & will let you know where you stand after every tryout/event. Our goal is to have our roster completed shortly after Assemblage. We hope to see as much of you as we can throughout tryouts & especially at Assemblage. Throughout the tryout process, you will be offered one of 3 positions on our team: Roster Player, Float Player or Practice Player.

Roster Player: Has an invitation to every practice & tournament we attend. You will automatically make the postseason roster.

Float Player: Has an invitation to every practice & will get invited to tournaments based on roster player availability. You will still have the opportunity to make the postseason roster.

Practice Player: Has an invitation to Monday skills practice & Saturday practices only. No tournament roster invitations or opportunity to make the postseason roster. The anticipated expectation in this role is to come to as much as you are able to. Practice players will have the opportunity to grow as athletes & contribute to our mission of investing in players & growing mixed ultimate in Cincinnati. Please note there will be a cost (about $40) associated with reserving fields that practice players will be asked to contribute.
